They aim to improve people’s perceptions of safety cameras by using technologies such as integrating an illuminated vehicle activated sign into the pole to increase visibility. Improved vandal protection is achieved with these innovative concepts and a flexibility of design, unique to the CROWN smartPOLE.

NEW PRODUCT DESIGN – Single Pole. This new design of roadside pole integrates traffic monitoring equipment. Developed by Crown UK, the roadside pole is ergonomically designed, providing high visibility, with minimal distraction and interference to foot traffic.

The pole is available in various design combinations to suit the monitoring equipment, location, and authority’s preference. The new design is registered within the EU and will be shown in production form at Traffex (NEC April 07).
